Starting out
Well here we go. I'm finally giving the blog thing a go. I'm writing this blog mostly just to jot down a few of my thoughts and my ideas. Recently I've really realized how many black spots I have in my memory. Entire days, weeks and months of my life are gone, and as regardless of how much I may want to remember I doubt I ever will. I'm not really sure if it is the result of the mental problems I have, the medication I am on, or just a bad memory. Well I guess it really doesn't matter that much it just means that I will rely on things like this.
So now that you know why I'm doing this I should let you know that very few people will read this, and if you're one of the lucky few to read these lines you will soon realize that I'm not anything but a writer. So please forgive any spelling, grammar or other errors that I might record here. I would also like to apologize in advance for the probable banality of my postings. I will try from time to time to include interesting things. I plan on posting any of the things I deem to be interesting or cool in the hopes that you might find it as interesting I did. So for those times that I don't find the time to make a post please enjoy the digg swarm below and my personal digg ticker. For those of you not familiar with Digg I'll try to briefly explain it. Digg is a social bookmarking site. Basically it allows people to post a news article or link, and then depending on who and how many people "Digg" the article, it moves up towards the front page of digg.com. By the time the article makes it to the front page of digg you can be relatively confident that the article is interesting. It's mostly nerd stuff but neat stuff none the less. So due to my affinity for digg, I put up a ticker that shows articles that I digg. I hope that you might find something in the ticker that you might also like. The swarm at the bottom is also kinda cool. It show in realtime the articles people are digging and any possible grouping that might happen from people who digg the same group of articles. I find it cool to see what happens in the swarm. Also I would just bring your attention to the comments on the digg articles. I find some of them to be insightful, funny, and well written, so don't forget to check them out.
Well I think that I'm going to end my first post now. I'll be back soon to share something new. Hopefully next time it will be something with actual substance. Well until next time.
